When you book a table for Mother’s Day this year, a Mother's Day cocktail is on us for all the Mums, Grandmums, Bonus Mums and Mum-figures – our way of saying thank you for all the care that helps us flourish.

Every Friday from 7pm and Saturday from 8pm ‘til late.

90 minutes of joy! Enjoy any brunch dish and 3 drinks for £37.50, or go bottomless for £47.50, every Friday & Saturday from 10am until 2pm.
Sunday Roasts
Roasted meats with crisp, garlic & herb roast potatoes and all the trimmings including bottomless Yorkshires and house gravy.
Only available on Sundays.
Lunch Menu
A lighter version of our famous kebabs, served with garlic flatbread, rocket salad and houmous. Let’s graze!
Served until 4pm, Monday to Friday, just £8.50.

Located opposite Chester Cathedral, accessible via Godstall Lane The Botanist Chester is situated over two floors and features ah outdoor seating area and private dining room.
Perfect for casual drinks, special occasions, or dining with friends, we offer a unique atmosphere, alive with the spirit of nature. With a freshly-cooked menu, a cocktail list boasting a garden party of botanical concoctions, and homegrown live music.
Bar
Our bar area is the perfect place for casual cocktails with friends or after-work drinks. With an extensive range of draught beers, a cocktail list inspired by the best of botany, and a wine list to sip and savour. See you at the bar!
Restaurant
Our restaurant space is alive with the vibrant spirit of nature. Step into a botanical wonderland and dig in to menus full of dishes packed with the season’s finest veg, fruit, spices and herbs. With a freshly-cooked menu of feel-good food, prepared by our chefs and served with a smile by our teams.
Outdoor seating area
Our outdoor seating area is just the spot for al fresco dining or a botanical cocktail (or two), whilst watching the world go by. Complete with rattan furniture and botanical planters.
The Caraway Room
Our private dining room is perfect for private events and intimate dining experiences. Whether it's a special occasion, group dinner or drinks, a business lunch or something completely unique, our private dining room will lend botanical glamour to your event.

Gather the family and settle in over roasted cuts served with crispy, fluffy, garlic and herb roast potatoes, maple-glazed charred carrots and fresh Tenderstem broccoli. Add pigs in blankets, sage and onion stuffing balls and oozy cauliflower cheese for everyone at the table to dig in to. Our Yorkshire puddings and house gravy are bottomless, just like Mum’s love.
Raise a glass to the women who’ve helped you bloom with our I'll Be Mother cocktail. For pudding? Our Mother Nature Pud – a limited-edition edible plant pot.

Yes, The Botanist is dog friendly. We welcome your four-legged friends in our bar and outdoor areas.
We of course welcome all service and assistance dogs.
Our gluten-free menu includes a wide variety of dishes - including classic haddock and chips, chicken schnitzel with green garlic butter... and of course plenty of our famous hanging kebabs.

All of our locations are wheelchair-user friendly, including entrances, exits and bathroom facilities. Please note, there may be 2nd floor and/or additional private hire areas which are not accessible via wheelchair. For further accessibility information for your local Botanist, please get in touch via our contact form or give our team a call.
We believe plants should be celebrated in all their glory, which is why you’ll find plenty of vegan and veggie dishes on our menu. Head over to our menus to see what's in season.
