Our Spaces

Situated on Bournemouth Square, close to nearby Bournemouth Gardens, inside Bobby's department story. With a large roof garden boasting festoon lights and a roaring fire pit - perfect for al fresco dining -The Botanist Bournemouth is based on the 4th floor, with two lifts to the bar and restaurant. The space features a large bar and lounge with plenty of soft seats, along with an indoor feature river with two kissing bridges. A semi-private area, within a tunnel of hanging plants and botanical archways is perfect for celebrations.

Perfect for casual drinks, special occasions, or dining with friends, we offer a unique atmosphere, alive with the spirit of nature. With a freshly-cooked menu, a cocktail list boasting a garden party of botanical concoctions, and homegrown live music.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, The Botanist is dog friendly. We welcome your four-legged friends in our bar and outdoor areas. 

We of course welcome all service and assistance dogs.

Are your locations accessible?

All of our locations are wheelchair-user friendly, including entrances, exits and bathroom facilities. Please note, there may be 2nd floor and/or additional private hire areas which are not accessible via wheelchair. Many of our venues are housed in unique or listed buildings, which means accessibility features can vary between locations and some original fixtures, fittings or flooring may present additional challenges. To ensure we can best accommodate your visit, we recommend contacting your local Botanist via our contact form or by phone ahead of your booking, and our team will be happy to help with any accessibility queries.

What vegan and vegetarian options do you offer?

We believe plants should be celebrated in all their glory, which is why you’ll find plenty of vegan and veggie dishes on our menu. Head over to our menus to see what's in season.

Is your lunch menu available in all Botanist restaurants?

The lunch menu is available in all Botanist sites with the exception of our Lincoln restaurant. Our lunch menu is £8.50 and is available Monday to Friday from opening until 4pm.
