Our Spaces
Situated in Church Street in Cardiff city centre, The Botanist is a bar and restaurant set across two floors, with a large roof garden boasting festoon lights and a roaring fire pit - perfect for al fresco dining. One of two Botanist's in Cardiff, the space features a large bar with banquette seating and an indoor feature river complete with unique bridge, perfect for instagrammable moments. A private dining room is perfect for life's celebrations.

Want to know what love is? Whether you’re truly, madly, deeply in love, you’re giving a shoutout to your ex or you’re girls who just wanna have fun, we’re picking up good vibrations on Valentine’s Day 2026.
Romantic or platonic, celebrate a long weekend of love with Galentine's Day on Friday 13th February and Valentine's Day on Saturday 14th February.
Our Sharing Set Menu is £39.95pp and is designed for two to enjoy.

Yes, The Botanist is dog friendly. We welcome your four-legged friends in our bar and outdoor areas.
We of course welcome all service and assistance dogs.
Our gluten-free menu includes a wide variety of dishes - including classic haddock and chips, chicken schnitzel with green garlic butter... and of course plenty of our famous hanging kebabs.

All of our locations are wheelchair-user friendly, including entrances, exits and bathroom facilities. Please note, there may be 2nd floor and/or additional private hire areas which are not accessible via wheelchair.
