The Botanist’s Winter Menu Is Here

The nights are getting darker and colder, the countdown to Christmas is nearly on and twinkling lights are gradually adorning the streets- which can only mean one thing...

Our NEW winter menu has arrived! Whether you're looking to push the boat out and fully indulge, or are just after a hearty dish to warm you up , our re-vamped menu is perfect, complete with sharing boards, oozy Camembert and mouth-watering twists on the Christmas classics. Expertly crafted by our wonderful, in-house chefs and created lovingly from scratch, this is the comfort food to indulge in as the winter chill creeps in!

It wouldn’t be winter at The Botanist without our famous hanging kebabs and there’s a new festive addition to the line-up on our Seasonal Specials menu; orange and cranberry glazed turkey, stuffing and pigs in blankets, served with all the trimmings and a pot of gravy to drizzle down the kebab.  

Another showstopping main dish available until Christmas is the turkey ‘pie of the day’ topped with mashed potato, cranberry sauce and crispy sage and served with a jug of gravy. The best bit? It comes with a giant pig in blanket sat on top of it.

For starters, there’s a whole melted camembert baked inside a sourdough loaf with sweet onion marmalade (yes, you read that right) which comes served with crispy garlic croutons to dip into it. The new side dish on the menu is sure to bring festive cheer; a garlic fougasse tear-and-share style bread with a pot of melted garlic butter to dip or drizzle. Can’t decide? You don’t have to.

Our Hot Board now comes with tater tot poutine, Cumberland scotch egg, halloumi fries, salt and pepper chicken wings and chicken katsu bites. The vegan option includes bang bang cauliflower, giant couscous, houmous with roasted chickpeas, vegan meatballs in marinara sauce and crispy mushrooms.  

And those with a sweet tooth haven’t been forgotten, our signature cookie dough has had a seasonal update too. The new S’mores option is topped with toasted marshmallows and chocolate brownie chunks, with a biscuit crumb. The Salted Caramel comes with sticky, sweet butterscotch sauce and salted pretzel pieces, the perfect festive treat.
