Last night was an exciting one for The Botanist staff and customers alike, as the brand was announced 'Best Pub Brand Concept' at the esteemed Publican Awards, 2017.

Chris Hill, CEO of The Botanist and The New World Trading Company (NWTC), took to the stage to receive a record of six awards on behalf of the company. Compère for the evening, Jonathan Ross, invited Chris and the team to "...just move their table upon to the stage" after winning every category they were nominated in.

The incredible achievement, Chris and the team believe, is down to the hard work and passion of all the 1200 staff that work across the NWTC estate. NWTC operates under the brands of The Botanist, The Trading House, The Club House, The Oast House and The Smugglers Cove. Discover more about all six of NWTC's 2017 Publican awards here.

Chris Hill expresses his thoughts, “We have already had an exceptional start to the year and being recognised across the board is an unbelievable achievement. I am proud of every member of the team from the incredible operations team through to those working at each site to ensure every customer has the best experience...

We have big plans for the rest of the year both internally with our revolutionary engagement scheme ‘Tribes’ and for our customers we have new pubs openings in Didsbury (Manchester), Reading and Birmingham. We can’t wait to get started.”
